Don't believe them when they tell you... it's right to die for your country

Not in my name
send our young to die in a far land
when power is your aim
Nor bomb their cities
that stand against your might,
or seek to profit at their expense

Instead, act gently and with wisdom
Then my name is yours
And if against injustice you strive
to protect the weaker from a ruthless foe
then not just in my name,
my blood is also yours.

Don't believe them when they tell you... vote for us for we have your interests at heart

The sad truth is that the primary objective of a government is to stay in power and the primary objective of an opposition party is to gain power. Any benefit to the population is incidental.

Education is a good thing but schools are society's way of conditioning your thinking and turning you into an economic unit. Education should expand your mind and your horizons of thought. Unfortunately it can often stifle free-thinking and creativity.
